IE7 SUX
IE7 SUX
I hate it.
It crashes. It wont connect. It wont follow links. It wont open pages when it does connect.
You name it and it's not happening for me.
I'd get rid of the crap but I need IE for some sites that aren't supported in FF.
Damn thing was installed with my last Updates.
I know. I should've read the alert more carefully, but it's always benn just patches, and virus definitions. Security shit.
They snuck this one in one me when my guard was down.
Anybody got a copy of IE 6 they can email me or put up on that site where it'll be stored for a week or so and I can d/l it from there?
Pretty please???

I have no idea what you're talking about so I'm going to take a guess and say IE 7 is Irregular Esgargot (seven of them)
and FF is French Fries.
Even though you didn't specify how many french fries I would probably prefer them over deformed snails anyday.
Yeah, definately the fries.
Go with the fries.

Oh, and you can download Internet Explorer 6, all legit from Microsoft Downloads
I haven't done it, but there's a way of XP running IE6 and IE7 side by side
Edit: and you should always check what Windows update is installing. You never know if/when they're going to sneak that WGA tool on you again
*burp
Thanks all.
Not Don and T-Bro you should take your act on the road. You'd make a killing.
Thanks anyhoo MerriD.
V0id it does roll back to IE 6.
Tried it with my fingers crossed and all's well.
I swear. This was the first time I can remember never checking closely what MS was trying to install in the updates.
I'll NEVER do that again.
Explorer Scouts' Honor.
I didn't go the MS route coz they only offer IE 6 with SP1 or2 attatched which I didn't need coz all of that was still on my 'puter.
Where the hell was BeenieBoy when I needed him?

It's funny... IE7 won't install for me. I have tried it several times, even after adjusting my registry and shutting down all firewalls and virus protection. My work asked me to do a tutorial on IE7, but kinda hard to do so when it won't install.
