Walk the Line

You either ripped off Hollywood or lined the overpaid actors pockets.

Walk the Line

Post by Jean Pool »

saw it this weekend, couldn't believe the lines to get in but then I remembered Reese W. had just won a Golden Globe for her performance of June Carter. It was pretty good, but almost seems like a formula movie about musicians: First overcomes amazing blocks, suffers as a child, has a mom who loves him, gets addicted to drugs, falls in love, goes through drug withdrawals, dies. END OF STORY.

I never liked him that much when he was alive, now, I think he's cool. Sad, isn't it.

Wonder if you all saw it or liked it or liked him?

I didn't know a lot about his background.
Truthfully, after seeing it, I didn't like him too much.
He seemed to be a spoiled asshole.
ANd the movie more or less revolved around June... which was Ok, cause I like Reece Whitherspoon. :D Maybe if Joaquin Phoenix hadn't played him, I would've liked him better.. I dunno.
