I think only violent people--rapists, robbers, assaulters and such should be put away. She could be fined or community service, such as cooking for the homeless or some such thing, but prison seems in approiate.

i agree that 5 months in, 5 months house arrest & 2 yrs probation is NOT enough, but i also think 30 yrs hard time is too much. 15 would have been good. however, i don't think we give ENOUGH time to the violent criminals either, nor do we actually carry out the death sentence enough.
