Van Helsing

You either ripped off Hollywood or lined the overpaid actors pockets.

LOVE the effects. LOVE nearly nekkid Hugh Jackman. LOVE all the action. HATE the sappy ending. Overall, great movie and I'll probably buy it when its out on DVD!

i think you will really like it. plus, i forgot to mention. it's really cool how they (meaning writers/producers/directors) blended the "urban myths" of several different stories (ie. Jackel/Hyde, Frankenstein, Dracula, etc... ) into one movie. kinda of similar to "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" in that respect, but a much better movie (even if LXG had ean Connery)

oh shut up will you... yeah, my ticket cost me $8.25 which is why typically we go to the drive in for movies ($3 a person! and you always see a double feature, sometimes a triple)

Um, not only do we get screwed at the gas pump but also at the movies.

Although I'm going to see it free this time, it costs us about 13 dollars to see the movie and then the food and drink is extra. :(

OMG.. for Ron & I to see Van Helsing and all we bought was a giant bottle of water, altogether $20.50 = $8.25 tickets x2 + $4 bottle of water.. UGH!! like i said, typically, we either go to the matinee on saturday (but to hard w/ a 2 yr old) or we go to the drive in and see 2 movies for $3 a person.

We use to have a 7 dollar tuesday but that is gone now.

We are not permitted to bring anything from outside to the movie so if you want snacks and evening for two will cost about 37 dollars not including transpotation......and not including Micky D's.

I went to a cinema in Germany once............. the seats were like booths, with a table in front.
There was this little light on the table that was dimmed when the movie started. We kept on trying to turn it off completely, but the button didn't seem to work. :x

There was a waitress who went around taking peoples orders (Beer, snacks etc.)......... she kept coming over to our table and babbling something in German............. we later discovered that what we thought was the light switch was actually the call button

I really want to see this flix but haven't gotten the chance yet.....heard it is awesome.

As far as movies go.....the only thing I pay for is the ticket. I sneak in a drink and snacks. I avoid getting popcorn because it is gross and always gets me sick.

I bring a large bag and load it up with a drink and stoney snacks. :D
