My friend just forced me to watch the 100 scariest moments in Film ever , lots of scary clips, with boring people talking in between.

Anyway, the top three were Jaws, The Exorcist and number one was The Shining.

I think Ive started this thread on everyboard Ive ever been on, so may as well do it here

What are your favourite scary moments or movies?

I think The Shining, Rosemary's Baby and Blair Witch were all pretty creepy.

The Wizard of Oz scared the crap out of me when I was a child.

Yeah my favourite scene in Texas Chain Saw was when they're all sitting round the dinner table

And Wizard of Oz was in the Top 100 list as well, so your not alone Pete

Blair Witch for sure.. i think it was the way it was filmed & the ending... AAAHHHH!!!

It was the flying monkeys in Wizard of Oz. they were/are scary as HELL!

Thirteen Ghosts was pretty freaky too

Rosemarys baby sure was an ugly baby

I used to get spooked watching the Nightmare on Elms Street films, and as yet i still havnt watched the Excocist even though I have it on tape.

The first two Nightmare on Elmstreets were good, maybe even the third.

But I didnt like IT, I thought the clown was pretty scary, when he was calling the kid from the drain thingy

But that fucking giant spider at the end was so shit.

The only part of Blair Witch that scared me was the last shot. The rest made me feel dizzy.

Hmm, scariest movies of all time -- Pet Cemetary, The Shining, The House of 1000 Corpses, Jacob's Ladder, Alien, and anything with Freddy Kreuger

Whenmy friends and I were little we used to say 'Bloody Mary' in front of a mirror. I guess Mary Queen of Scots is supposed to appear or something.

i did that too riles.. nothing ever happened... and i did the candy man thing (after about a dozen failed attempts cause i was scurred!) and duh, nothing happened... although i think i slept with ALL the lights on that night!
