Just before the mother comes to visit, they show a panoramic view of the apt... you will notice a small boy dressed like a cowboy "hiding" behind one of the sheers at the window. Its certainly spooky.. and there was controversy aboot where the boy came from- supposedly he wasn't REALLY there, and he wasn't on the negative, either..

In the scene with the chariot racing, when one gets flipped you can see the gas cylinder underneath that was used to flip the vehicle
