Texas Chainsaw MAssacre

Post by .:VerTiGo:. »

:faint:
I watched it last night for the 1st time. When I went to bed, ALL I dreamed aboot was Leatherface. Needless to say, I didn't sleep hardly at all. It was the scariest thing I have seen in a long time. The worst was just knowing that it really happened.... :faint:

I actually saw this when it was out in the theatres.

Definately not like the original...which I rented again after seeing this new one in the movies....but nicely done in a modern way.

I did find this new family much more creeped out though....a real bunch of freaks!

To clarify V......the story is more or less loosely based on the evil doings of a man called Ed Gein. He is really considered one of America's first serial killers....here is a site with just a tidbit of info if no one is familiar with him.
<a href='http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/p ... 2/gein.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/p ... ein.htm</a>

And this one with the comparisons between Gein and Leatherface.

<a href='http://www.chasingthefrog.com/reelfaces ... ainsaw.php' target='_blank'>http://www.chasingthefrog.com/reelfaces ... saw.php</a>

A real sick fuck.

Pretty interesting read CG.

I saw the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Athought there was nothing grahic in the movie it was so disturbing that people believed they saw more than they really did.

I did enjoy the first one....will forever be a classic. ;)

As far as royalities goes Danny, it is currently against the law here in America for a criminal to profit directly from any crimes they have commited and are incarcerated for.

ok, i got the remake from NetFlix. i've had it for over a week now, trying to get up the nerve to watch it alone (cause ron is a big ol' sissy and won't watch scary movies w/me). so, i think i'm gonna go watch it now, while it's still daylight out and before the boys get up. i'll let you know what i think.
