Well I've heard some reviews about it and a few say its quite funny........... which was my fear to start with.
They should've made it darker............. maybe even reversed the sexes and made it The Stepford Husbands or something........ would've sat better in the present day.

does the dishes and the laundry and mowes the lawn & NEVER complains about how much money you spend on clothes or how many shoes you own.

(my husband actually said to me -- why do you need more than ONE pair of black shoes?? HELLLLOOOO, black summer sandals, black pumps, black casual boots, black dressy boots, black kick-ass sexy heels.. -- is it my fault he can live with only 5 pairs of shoes: one pair of sneakers, one pair of casual loafters, one pair of dress shoes, one pair of sandals & one pair of boots for working in the yard?

If I'm not mistaken there were about 3 Stepford movies and I believe there was a Stepford Husband movie.

Oh yeah....I remember, sadly, that move, The Stepfather. Poorly made suspense thriller staring Shelly Hack, of Charle's Angles fame. Awful.

The stepfather is a crazy murderer, changing identities, who goes around marrying different women and murdering them and their family for money. Definately 80's cheese big time.

This thread is getting to be like free word association about old shows. I'll try:

Stepfathers and Stepford is like Stanford which reminds me of Sanford and Son.

That show can still make me laugh. In fact if I was to have a robot dad made he'd be like redd foxx.
