Can someone tell me why husbands get things for their wives on Mother's Day? Is it because they're the mother of their children? So what if there are no children? o.O

It depends how old the yung'un is. You can't really expect a toddler to go out and buy a card and some flowers

only men who have children w/their wives buy mothers day gifts for them. it's b/c she's the mother of his kids and he wants her to know how much that means to him. and like void said, a 2 yr old & a 5 month old can't go buy a gift and/or card.
