I remember when PSX was nearing its retirement days and ps2 was about to debut it was around the time FF8 was out. And ff8 looked awesome. It just goes to show that the PS2 has not reached its full potential. Niether has the X box but by that time PS3 will be creeping further around the corner.

Currently I have my PS2 chipped and it has a linux media player installed so i can play a dvd full of AVI files. I also have a flip screen for it which makes it fun to take in the car whenever my family goes on a trip. Having 5 movies on one disk is convienient. Having a whole Anime series is convienient too. It makes the trip much shorter.

Yeah thats the problem now........ I wish they'd just wait a few more years and just give us a couple of machines

The machines are just going to waste........... they gotta make their money though I guess.
