The Grudge

The Grudge is the curse of one who dies in the grip of a powerful rage. Those who encounter this murderous supernatural curse die and a new one is born, passed from victim to victim in an endless, growing chain of horror.

I had been dying to see this movie since I saw the trailer for it some time ago.

For those of you who do not know, this movie is yet another remake of a Japanese film, Ju-On, and by the same guy who made The Ring. This guy is fuckin excellent!

This movie SCARED THE FUCKIN SHIT OUTTA ME!!!! For anyone who saw The Ring and was creeped-out by "scary-face-closet-girl" or the chick comin outta the TV, well, let me tell ya.....this movie made that shit look like The Wizard of Oz.

Movie stars Sarah Michelle Gallar as an exchange student in Japan who needs to earn credits by doing health aid work.
There are a couple of other Americans in the film, Bill Pullman and Jason Behr to name a couple, and others that you have seen but may not necessarily know by name.

This movie is creepy from start to finish and there really isn't a scene in the movie where something really creepy isn't going on. Mind you, this is that kind of psychological creepy-freak-out-shit. The kind that give you nightmares for weeks, if not months. Seriously....I shit you not. You will definately cringe and jump in your seat....maybe even have to cover your eyes....lol.

I am not going to give away any real info on the movie but I HIGHLY suggest that if you really like a good horror flick.....go and see it. I do have to say, that I found out that there is additional stuff that goes on after the credits....which sadly I did not stick around to see.

So, CinnamonGirl give this movie a BIG

And don't bother to sleep with the lights on afterward.....it won't help. :twisted:

I checked out the trailer, too, and there was a thing you could- I guess play.. I couldn't finish!

It was too scary- and that background noise was getting louder... *gulp* closer....

i just finished watching this...11pm my time, and there is NO WAY IN HELL im sleeping...i am totally freaked

that gurgling noooooise from the movie is ringing in my ears....i swear i am so damn scared right now i could cry

i'm gonna go call some people on the phone and wake them...i ain't getting through this on my own...i'm just beside myself

Did I or did I not tell you guys that it was FUCKIN SCARY!!!!!!

That chick and that little boy were sooooo creepy. *shudders* Man, everythime that kid showed up you just knew something bad, weird and scary was gonna happen.

I'll tell ya, I saw this almost 3 weeks ago and I am still freaked out at times....still haven't slept right and well.....it ain't gettin no better.

I liked the original better, anyways there is another movie comming out Im excited about, I wouldnt really say its horror tho, its more suspence/mystery. Based on the Very Popular Manga.

You mean the Japanese version I assume.

I saw it...only because people said it was better then the new one. Gotta tell ya, thought is sucked. Was not scary at all. Maybe because I saw the other one first and knew what to expect but don't really think so.

Found it to be really low-budget style.
