That's just the beginning. And I thought England was more civilized than here. They now have laws here about not smoking within 15 feet of a public doorway, so you have to stand in the middle of the street and get run over.

I can see, where a ban would be good in food areas, or near the the bar like it is now in many establishments, but a complete ban is crazy.
They've already gone ahead with the complete ban in Ireland

A complete ban goes into effect as May 31 2006 in Toronto.
There will be no smoking outside anywhere.

That is awesome. Smoking is a vile habit where you not only put your own health at risk but force those around you to be at risk as well. I love that public smoking will eventually be banned everywhere.
