pool is played on a smaller table with bigger pockets and different rules.
(8 ball aka. "straight") Pool involves, potting all your type of balls, be it spots or stripes, reds or yellows, then going for the black "8" ball to finish
(9 ball) Pool involves potting each of the balls 1-9 in order, the winner being the person that pots the 9 ball
Snooker is the potting of the reds followed by a colour, when all the reds are gone you pot the coloured balls in order. (yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black) You build up points for the reds (1 each) and more points for the colours (yellow = 2, black = 7) Winner is the person that has the most points.
