watched the movie The Life of David Gayle???
I have to watch it and do a film critque for my legal issues & ethics class. We have to discuss the ethical issues that are presented in the movie. If anyone has watched this movie please give me feedback!!
Has anyone...
Other than having the distinction of being the only Kevin Spacey movie I didn't like, this one didn't make much of an impression on me.
If "David Gayle" wanted to try to change the legal system in Texas, he could have chosen a very different way of doing so.
If he was merely a drunken-looser-who'd-lost-everything-and-has-nothing-left-to-live-for, he still didn't give validation to his life.
IMHO that is.
In all honesty, if I'd knwn before I saw it that it was about the injustices done by our imperfect legal/court system, and not, as described by media and trailers, as one man's battle against the Texas death penalty, I never would've gone to see this @ the theater.
