Reformat shit
I really should reformat, I've put it off for so long now.
I didn't want to do it because I've changed so much of my PC.
Most of the stuff I have done I can't even remember thats the problem, like I would see a website where they told you how to speed this up or that and just did it, or I would change a load of settings when problems arose.......... blah blah blah
Anyway, what exactly and how much of my settings and stuff can be saved?
........................easily? lol

I do it with my eyes closed.
back up the document folders, email addies, favorites, you can even export your address book to comma seperated values.
don't forget to export your email account settings so you don't have to remember your passwords
then you know you got a good backup
also, if you can find your store folder for outlook express, copy it, and you can restore emails from there to make it just the same as before format.

Don't listen to v0id, he doesn't knowIf I save the dbx files, are all the attachments saved as well?

open outlook express, tools menu>options>maintenance>store folder
copy the whole address that's showing, and paste it into a MyComputer address window, then hit Enter key
that will take you right to your outlook express folder
go up one level, and copy the outlook express folder
Then, copy the folder to a different computer, open outlook express on that computer, and go to the File menu
it's File>Import>Messages. Select Outlook Express 6 as the program to copy from, and click next
In the next window, it asks you to select an identity. From close to the bottom of that window, click the radio button to select import from an OE6 store directory. From there, browse to the Outlook express folder you copied earlier
Then, browse to the Outlook Express folder you copied, select it and click next
Then you will see the list of folders and subfolder you have, and can select to import all or none.
PS. Don't forget to export your email address book also.
it's in the same file menu as the import.
I use the Text file to export to comma seperated values. That way if something goes wrong, at least it's plain text and I can copy and paste the addresses later
