:huh: I could have sworn that there was a thread for this movie.. nut I didn't see one.. so... okay..

Anyone seen this? Its a mindfuck kinda movie that starts off kinda slow, and then ends really forked up.. It was pretty good, though.

(of course, how bad can it be if Johnny Depp is in it?)

even a bad movie is good if Johnny's in it. haven't seen it yet, but it's on my list.

Yea, if you like Johnny, you should like the movie.. I was on edge thru alot of it..

prolly cos I smoked out before we watched it..

I liked it since he was in every scene, but I figured out who Mr. Shooter really was earlyone so some of the surprise was like oh yeah. Remember Fight Club? Similar surprise.

I actually rented this last week, along with Butterfly Effect and didn't get to watch it before I had to return it....so it looks like I am gonna have to rent it again. *sigh*

Anyone read the Stephen King short story it was based on?

I read it so long ago really that I don't remember the whole thing.

It is in a collection of short stories in the book, Four Past Midnight. These are short stories that are like 200 pgs long though so I know what you mean JP. Also had the story, The Langoliers, which if you remember, was made into a TV movie miniseries.

What did you think of the Butterfly Effect, Cin?

I liked it.. but the end was effed up a littel. I didn't see the theatrical cut, tho- we watched the director's cut.

That is what I saw also.....wonder what the difference was in the theatrical one...

I liked it as well....found it very interesting and was greatly suprised in Aston Kutchers performance....I thought he was good in a non-comedic role.

Shit just got worse and worse for him but I thought is was cool anyhow.

I want to see the Secret Window and Butterfly effect. I watched Timeline with Paul Walker over the weekend and I liked it. I also really like 50 First Dates...but I love Adam Sandler...
