Woke up @ 6 this morning and went to pee. DAMMIT! there, right in the middle of the bathroom rug is a nice moist pile o' poo. Now, this is the first time I have found poo outside of the litterbox since I have moved in, and I'm not happy. Of course, the last thing I wanna do at 6 am is clean kitty kaka- so much for keeping my eyes mostly closed so I don't wake up too much to go back to sleep...
Normally, upon finding 'kitty surprise'- which, BTW, ranges from puked up cat food, hairballs and poop-I will call upon the kitty in question and scold the guilty party. Today was not the case. After cleaning the poo *gag* and getting the rug ready for the wash, I notice that the other rug was also in an awkward position. This rug, too, had been used for a defication facility. Now, I'm really, really mad. I storm down the hall to find a lazy cat, strected out ON THE KITCHEN table. My first inclination is to grab him by his tail and fling him against the wall, however, his cat-like reflexes and intuition prohibits this act. He knows he's in trouble and immediatly flees the scene. I take the rugs downstairs to the washer, put them in, have some coffee, and continue to search for my fugitive. Alas, I find him contently cleaning himself .. of all places.. ON MY BED. 
Since the crime has been long ago commited, and the evidence currently in the spin cycle, I had no other choice but to pick him up and fro him outside. He is banished from Mandita Kingdom until I can find another suitable sentence.So, now, I have to sweep and mop all the floors.. which is really all the floors. Living in my apt, the only tile was that in the kitchen and bathroom. Now, howvwer, the only carpets are the area rugs I have stratigically places throughout the living and dining rooms. I also have to dust and do laundry. This needs to be done by 4 cos the twins are having a birthday party. Wow... cat poo, laundry, and 18 or so 14 year olds.. is there a better way to spend a Saturday?
