Kill Bill Vol 1

You either ripped off Hollywood or lined the overpaid actors pockets.

Kill Bill Vol 1

Post by Merideth »

Well, I thought we had a thread about this one, but apparently it was about Vol2. So, I finally saw this over the weekend and I must say, even though I am not a huge fan of Tarentino, this film is excellent on many levels. The story line is fascinating, the blood factor is abundant, but not overwhelming. Cinemagraphically (is that even a word) this movie is truly a work of art. I love how the flashback of O-Ren Ishii was done as Japanimation -- brillant! The black & white fight scene just before she fought O-Ren, spectacular! I admit, I didn't originally want to see this movie mainly because of my distaste for most Tarentino work and because the title "Kill Bill" turned me off. However, I now cannot WAIT to see Vol 2.

Well done, Quentin!
