The Stepford Wives
Well they've remade yet another film. <a href='http://www.stepfordwivesmovie.com/flash/index.html' target='_blank'>http://www.stepfordwivesmovie.com/flash/index.html</a>
I was actually quite interested in seeing this, until I went to the site that is
Its got Christopher Walken and Nicole Kidman in it.
Unfortunately its also got Glenn Close and Bette Midler ..... two actresses that annoy the fuck out of me!
Plus from what I've seen the movie doesn't look dark at all, looks a bit jokey and colourful
I'm hoping it will still be good, because it would be a great movie to bring up to date, but the signs don't look good

The original was certainly a classic....Katherine Ross was excellent and it was a bit scary at the time...not a comedy at all.
As far as the new one.....let me begin with stating that Hollywood is truly running out of original ideas and is digging up all kinds of movies to remake....mostly done poorly.
This looks more like a black comedy. You can definately see the humor in the trailers and commercials that are out now....I personally think that was a bad idea....should have made it scarier than the original.
I will not see it in the theatre either....not worthy.
BTW T, I do like Miss M also and Glenn Close is better in period films.
I have no comment on Nicole Kidman.
