Yeah, but he uses psychological methods to manipulate you into thinking something, the seance was pretty cool, but it didn't do nowt for me or my mates. I did fall for some of his tricks though, which i kicked myself for.

The program was pretty cool, he freaked some students out!

That was the whole point of the program Merideth.
Derren Brown is a psychological trickster, he held a seance to prove that peoples minds can be manipulated into believing these things.
He made up a story about some dead students and got a group of students to attempt to contact them.......... I can't really explain it but it was really good. He had them totally fooled, not only them but people at home as well who were asked to phone in if anything strange happened.

At the end of the show he brought in the woman that the students were supposed to have contacted
