Maybe in the big, bad city of Chi-ca-go we do things different.
But most of the Taverns I've frequented are more like Pubs with simple food items, sandwiches, fries, tater skins, buffalo wings... are all available so the patrons can keep drinking without being interrupted to go out looking for something to eat.
