Gothika

You either ripped off Hollywood or lined the overpaid actors pockets.

Sorry for such a late answer V.....I didn't think Dreamcatcher was scary but it was at least interesting....being a fan of Mr. King and all.

Was gonna get Cabin Fever and it was touted as a "comedy-thriller" :?

From what I have heard and I only saw the first 5 minutes of this movie.....if you want really horrible gore then you gotta watch Rob Zombie's Night of 1000 Corpses.

Like I said....saw the first 5 minutes when I woke up one night...couldn't sleep for whatever reason...put on the TV. It starts as one of those films that the title is not given right away.....all I could remember was severe GORE....then the title was shown. Couldn't watch it at all....made me sick.

I hate those type movies!!

Has anyone seen the remake of Dawn of the Dead? (Or was it Night of the Living Dead?)

I haven't seen it but know someone who has....they said that it was great.

It is Dawn of the Dead....the one that takes place in the mall.

Night of the Living Dead was the old movie made in the 50"s that was later remade as well. That remake was pretty good.

I saw "Dawn" in a mall!! Late-night showing.

Exiting the theater was a frightening experience in itself....no one around.

Well, except for the "Brainz-R-Us" kiosk set up!!

   I didn't find the original that frightening but I expect that with today's modern flair for gore this one is said to be scary. *hopes*

Gothika was ok...the frekin' chick had a bad habit of popping up behind people...
"This way for the lost city,
This way for the lost people,
This way for eternal suffering,
All hope abandon, ye who enter here...

finally watched Gothika yesterday. and as CG said: its not that scary and is a little predictable. would have liked to have seen Robert Downey Jr's character developed a little more.
