Yes ML, I am aware....she writes her erotic novels as Anne Rampling.
There are the Beauty books....such as The Taking of Beauty (I believe that is it).
I have not read many of them but they are really HOT.
I love and have read all of her other books...The Vampire Chronicles, The Mayfair Witches....the ones that have crossed both sets of characters of the vampires and the witches and lets not forget one of her best, Rames, about the ancient Pharoah. Wish she would write a sequel to that one....

Really...maybe she has released them under her name now...I think that she actually wrote the erotica before all the vampire stuff...
Marius was good...interesting when she goes back and tells you about the characters that had smaller parts in the books.
Lots of homosexual undertones in them though...LOL
Have you read Feast of All Saints....great on also but not in the vampire or witch genre of hers.

Can't really remember the era....not Venetian though...more like the mid to late 1800....in Louisana.
HBO actually made a mini-series based on the book....had to do with the young half black-hal white women and they way they were kinda sold to white men of the day as mistresses....
Also another one was Cry To Heaven....I think that might be the one you are thinking of....about the young boys who are castrated to sing in the choir...made to be unics (sp) to keep their voices angelic.

i second that she should write a sequel to rames the damned.
