you should look at my goulosh receipe I posted earlier!
actually, that's what i wanted to make, but i don't have any tomatoes (fresh OR canned) and no tomato sauce, paste, soup, nothing
soooo.....
we had leftover broccoli, rice & cheese casserole, leftover corn pudding, leftover julien potatoes & i made burgers w/cheese & italian dressing mixed in w/the meat (i ate mine without the bun too!)
It was pretty good.. the only thing is I cooked the pasta prior to adding it.. so the noodles were too tender and kindly fell apart, but other than that, it was pretty yummy. I added a little bit of minced garlic to give it a little more 'oomph', too. Overall, it was pretty good.. I didn't realize that it would make enough to feed a small army, though :tehe:
cook hashbrowns, add in maple sausage and seasonings, cook until potatoes are golden brown & sausage is done and crumbly. add eggs (already beaten & with a little dash of milk) and cheese... mix & cook until eggs are done. YUMM!
its really easy to make and i prefer to make it myself anyway, because then i can make the potatoes as crisp as i like them (storm perfers them crispy, not mushy)
for dinner tonight: not sure... storm's working late.
